Open Ears (open-ears.com) is a platform of ‘chat lines’ catering for lonely people to have meaningful interactions, while providing a commission-based income for our members, who show empathy for those who need a friend (real people, not ai). If you speak fluent (native-level) English and have an empathetic approach to other people’s problems, you can get paid to work from home answering calls from interesting people around the world.

Do I need prior experience?
You do not need counseling credentials. We look for good communication skills, empathy, and reliability during vetting.
How long does vetting take?
Most applications are reviewed within 5–7 days. We will email you updates throughout the process.
Is there a minimum time commitment?
No. Set your own availability and take calls when it works for you. Just keep your status accurate so callers know when you are active.
